What’s In Our Camera Bag?

The most common question we get in regards to our page is what we use to create our content. It is common in conversation to hear that people feel like they cannot take good photos or share their favorite moments in an “Instagram Worthy” way without professional equipment, and that is entirely incorrect. It may surprise you to read this, but when we decided to make our page a “Travel Couple” page, we were shooting everything on an iPhone 7 and a Mavic Air. We were finding creative ways to set the phone up, since we didn’t have a tripod, and then we would position ourselves and one person would set the timer, press the button and sprint back into place. We upgraded to the iPhone XS Max in late October of 2018 and got a tripod with a cellphone attachment and a Joby Bluetooth Remote in early November. We didn’t even own a professional camera until February of 2019, six months into our Instagram adventure, and neither of us knew how to use it when we bought it. So, if you have a phone and are willing to get creative, ‘“professional equipment” can wait.

If you already have the budget to manage travel AND the purchasing of professional equipment, this list is the perfect place to start! Every item is linked directly to Amazon.com, so you can easily find exactly what we have and use on a daily basis. We shoot almost every photo that you see with our Sony and our very own professional Presets for Lightroom.
